True Blood

True Blood is an American television series created and produced by Alan Ball. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in northwestern Louisiana. Ratings, reviews and reception

True Blood received somewhat favorable reviews. After a bad start with a Metacritic rating of 64, the show stabilized around a rating of 73 and 79. IMDB ratings, although higher, show a similar pattern.
